Trent-Severn Lock 6 - Frankford (2013-07-23)

We had a pretty short day today, moving a whole whopping 4 miles up the Trent River to the upper wall of lock 6.  We had planned on anchoring in front of Dar's sister's house, which is a couple more miles further north on the Trent, but this was such a nice spot that we decided to stop here.

Nice and shady through most of the day
We're not sure if we will stay here for a few more days or move up to anchor.  One of the nice things about staying here is that we have a Parks Canada seasonal mooring permit, so we are always looking for ways to get the most use out of it.  Either way, we'll have a few days of downtime, so I'll be able to get some more work done on some of my project list.

We took a bit of a walk after lunch today, and I saw this sign.  I had to fight the urge to go find some wood or cardboard to place below it with the words "But we still love them".  Anyone who has experienced my sense of humour would get that, and for that I apologize... :-)

Should we still be labelling our kids? :-)
