Tonight we are tied to the dock at the
Mariner's on the Hudson restaurant. For the price of a meal we get to stay on the dock for free! Needless to say, we ate cheap. :-)
The night on the mooring ball was good. We puttered about on the boat for the afternoon, and after supper watched a bit of TV before an early bedtime.
Our travels today brought us through some spectacular Hudson River scenery. The Catskills were very impressive from the river.

We also started to encounter the Hudson River lighthouses. These look to be in great shape, considering the age of them, so it's obvious that the state takes great pride in the history that these represent.
In addition to the lighthouses there are quite a number of spectacular houses along the river.

We had looked at a couple anchorages near Kingston NY, but decided to treat ourselves to a dinner, so we travelled another 15 miles down the river. This made for a long day, but the night time views were worth it.

Beautiful pictures! Would it be possible for you to grant me permission to use the photo "The Mid-Hudson Bridge all lit up" for a presentation done by a local not for profit organization that assists people with disabilities?
